Fat Transfer

Fat is harvested from one place in the body and injected into another location. Typically fat transfers are used to place large volumes into the face to restore volume. Transferred fat is an example of an autologous implant from one’s own body. Approximately 60-70% of the transferred fat takes producing long term volume restoration. These procedures can be done in the office under local anesthesia.
