Chemical Peel and Lower Face Liposuction
Cosmetic Concern: 68-year old woman who is unhappy with her sagging lower eyelid skin and aging face.
Diagnosis
- Malar festoons (bags).
- Aging face.
- Jowling.
Treatment:
- Full-face chemical peel.
- Lower face and neck liposuction
Discussion: Note the dramatic improvement in the quality of her skin and the contour of the lower face. She had 8 days of downtime with her procedures. She also would have benefited from a lower facelift but this patient did not want to undergo general anesthesia. All the work was performed in the office under local anesthesia.
