Chin BOTOX®
Cosmetic Concern: 42-year old woman who is bothered by her pebbly chin.
Diagnosis
- Hyperdynamic mentalis muscle.
Treatment: Chin BOTOX®, 12 units.
Discussion: With a loss of chin volume the activity of the mentalis muscle that represents much of the soft tissue volume of the chin can create a rippled effect to the chin. BOTOX® can be injected into the chin to soften the activity of the mentalis muscle producing a smoother chin contour. Treatment is very comfortable and the effects last between 4 to 6 months. This service can be performed at the time of the Microdroplet™ BOTOX® forehead lift.
