Dr. Steinsapir is a graduate of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Board Certified in Ophthalmology, having completed his residency at the University of Chicago. He has completed numerous fellowships including three years of Ophthalmic Plastic and Orbital Surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA and a separate two-year fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery.
He is in private practice in West Los Angeles and serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology in the Division of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. In addition, he is an attending surgeon at the Harbor/UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California.
Widely published, he also speaks at numerous national meetings and is a regular contributor to Realself.com. His practice includes minimally invasive facial services, facial and eyelid surgery with a focus on repairing prior eyelid surgery. He has a special interest in repairing prior unsatisfactory eyelid and midface surgery.
